New-generation Cadillac Escalade adds in price
The North American manufacturer of premium cars has published the price-list of off-road Cadillac Escalade next generation, which will arrive on the shelves of the official dealers of the concern next spring, writes the publication Kolesa.
In the United States the new Cadillac Escalade will be offered in three versions – Standard, Luxury and Premium – priced from 71,695 dollars ($3,725 more expensive than its predecessor). The basic version of the model includes LED headlights, the trunk’s electric door, 20-inch aluminum wheels, color rear view camera, the Magnetic Ride Control electronic suspension control system, CUE infotainment center, digital instrument panel, remote start function, heated and cooled front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and Bose stereo.
The most expensive 2015 Cadillac Escalade model year, in addition to all of the above, boasts external door handles with lighting, a multimedia system for passengers “behind the curtain” with a nine-inch monitor, adaptive cruise control, technology, emergency braking and preparing people in the cabin for a possible accident.
Initially only one power unit will be available for the car – 6.Two-liter gasoline V-type engine with eight cylinders, developing four hundred and twenty horsepower and six hundred and twenty-three Newton-meter of maximum torque. The engine is mated to a six-band automatic transmission. In the future the company is going to assemble Cadillac Escalade with hybrid unit and diesel engine.
