Tasks of Ufa Administration till 2015

The administration of Ufa published the full text of the Complex Program of social and economic development of the capital of Bashkortostan for 5 years till 2015.

The main tasks of the city government are declared as follows: to create favorable conditions for life and business of the urban space and social environment, to achieve competitiveness of the regional economy and create conditions for effective municipal government.

According to the information from the capital’s municipality, about 107 billion rubles from the budget of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Bashkortostan and Ufa itself, as well as almost 150 billion rubles from non-budgetary funds, will be allocated to implement the planned activities.

As a result of the implementation of this program, the leadership of Ufa expects to 1.to triple the number of places for children in pre-school educational institutions, to raise the living space provision rate to 23.3 square meters per person, and the budget expenditures for the social sphere will increase by 1.2 times.

Moreover, the developers of the program assume that by 2015 the average salary of the Bashkortostan capital residents will increase by 10% and the general revenues by 20%. Retail trade should increase turnover by 30%, with the share of small and medium business growing by 1.2 times. It is planned that this innovative scenario for the development of the capital of Bashkiria will lead to a deficit-free budget by 2015, as well as to an increase in revenues of the city’s budget to 10 billion rubles, which is 20% more than the current.
